The Moddex Ezibilt™ Ramp, Stair & Walkway System is the ultimate pre-engineered, offsite manufactured solution for fast-tracked and compliant construction of accessibility ramps & stairs. Ezibilt is designed to be form fitting, easy to assemble and has the option for relocation if necessary.

Product Updates

(30/06/2025) Please keep the orientation for fabricated beams the same between the fabrication drawings & the productions drawings.

(19/06/2025) For mounting stairs onto side beams, please detail the hole positions on the side beam. The beam will remain standard with the additional holes noted on the PDs.

(06/06/2025) Please use FX34623.14G.075 "Bugle Batten Screw, Type 17, 14g x 75mm - HDG" for attaching FRP to Ezibilt.

(14/05/2025) Now include fixings and fixing locations for tapered beam ground connection pieces (MD892's). Also apply this to the metal tips when used.

(16/04/2025) Platform bracing max angle 60°. Require layered support if over this value.

(16/04/2025) Stair Brace Required when Stair Span is greater than 350mm or Stringer Length is greater than 4000mm.

(24/02/2025) We can use the following design for stairs on platforms. Utilise Blind Bolts.

(20/01/2025) Moving forward we need to add extra detail to our Dis & Install drawings for Ezibilt regarding the concrete ramp tip. The customer pours that slab for us to mount on & the ramp tip is poured by our installers. We need to always have the below few points on the drawing.

1. Posts on the ramp tip to be inground 250mm

2. Ramp tip to be 150mm thick at it’s lowest side

3. Ramp tip & concrete to be shaded but different colours to make it obvious

4. Notes on the drawing stating who is pouring what

a. Moddex to pour ramp tip

b. Customer to pour concrete for footings

5. Dimensions from a datum showing where the tip is located

(26/09/2024) Linked component file updated to use the latest pieces and remove some invalid components. New MD851 to be used as the angled piece due. Works from flat-down. Needs to be inverted for flat-up. Align the construction lines generated when using the component. Removes the angled tread support joiner due to the gap being significantly less. 3490-2050 now added automatically for variable widths.

(25/09/2024) Floor layout tool preset for Ekodeck created. Tool is simple to use. Use contextual menu for board rotation.

(25/09/2024) There is now a Leg Assembly and Welded Leg Assembly tools. Use them as appropriate and the codes should now be correct.

Ezibilt is designed and manufactured in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1428.1-2021 and relevant statutory WHS Codes of Practice/Guidelines.

VSBA Compliance applies to all VSBA Primary School Projects. This includes a max 325mm tread support spacing & the use of 3582 stair stringers. This is accompanied by 32NB pipe & the associated standards.
